EVAN SOARES

With the advent of Windows 10, all of Microsoft's various OS platforms merged into one universal system through which developers could launch one app, and with minimal tweaking, see that app work across Windows desktops, tablets, phones, and X Box.

An enormous number of new icons were needed to satisfy the needs of so many apps and features, and to meet the infinite scaling requirements of innumerable screen sizes and resolutions, each icon in the Windows 10 Universal App platform was recreated as a glyph in one single, enormous, widely-distributed font.

Here are 96 of my favorite icons I created in the construction of that font.
